Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley is focusing on beating one president in 2024: Joe Biden.
Haley dodged questions about former President Donald Trump during an interview on"Fox News Sunday," saying she doesn't"focus on President Trump." Both Trump and Haley remain the only GOP candidates to officially declare their campaigns.“It’s amazing that the media wants to talk about that so much,” Haley said when asked about she differs from the former president."I am focused on Joe Biden.
“I think we need new energy going in,” Haley said. “I think we need to leave the status quo of the past and start looking ahead.”"I would not run if President Trump ran,” Haley had said. “And I would talk to him about it. That is something that we’ll have a conversation about at some point if that decision is something that has to be made.”"I’m glad she’s running,” Trump said in an interview with Fox News last week.
