National Grid Corp. of the Philippines asked the Energy Regulatory Commission to allow it to fully recover costs totaling over P87.7 billion for two recently-completed transmission projects.“How much will be spent and how much can be charged to consumers for that cost, for that facility, the ERC dictates that,” Alabanza said.
The company also completed the P67.98-billion Cebu-Negros-Panay 230-kiloVolt backbone transmission lines in April. “With the completion of this critical project, NGCP is optimistic that the ERC will act on the overdue recoveries applied for by NGCP,” the company said earlier.
