We had a merciful week off to recover from the torrid stretch of losses, and now it’s time for the back-end of Mike Macdonald’s first season in charge. Let’s see who the Seahawks are facing in hopes of ending their losing run.... Oh. Oh boy. Alright, maybe the seventh time is the charm for the Seahawks against the San Francisco 49ers.
Seahawks defense prediction: Sack drought ends Seattle hasn’t recorded a sack over the past two games and didn’t sack Brock Purdy in the first meeting. Purdy is much more mobile and elusive than he’s given credit for, and he normally tears up blitzes, so not much reason to think the Seahawks will get to Purdy. His sack rate has remained consistent in that 6% ish range, and Kyle Shanahan has consistently found ways to shut Seattle’s pass rush down.
