“Tom [Eerebout, Ora’s stylist] contacted me to see if I had anything fabulous for the wedding scene, as he had not yet found the right look for what he wanted—as soon as I saw his references I knew immediately that I actually had that exact dress he was after,” Balch tellsof how the piece ended up in Rita’s music video. “It’s been in my archives for quite some time, waiting for its moment—I think Yves would have loved to have seen it worn so beautifully.
It turns out Rita is a newlywed in real life too—she recently confirmed she married director Taika Waititi in a private ceremony last year. No doubt her gown for the occasion was equally fabulous.
