Demi Lovato's music video for the song 'Still Alive' includes new footage from Scream 6 that implies Jenna Ortega's Tara has found a love interest.
Scream 6 footage reveals that Jenna Ortega's Tara may have a new romance on the horizon. The film, which is coming to theaters on March 10, will follow directly from the events of Scream 2022 as most of the survivors reconvene in New York to fend off a brand new Ghostface killer. These survivors include hardnosed reporter Gale Weathers , Scream 4 fan favorite Kirby Reed , twin siblings Chad and Mindy Meeks-Martin , and formerly estranged sisters Sam and Tara Carpenter .
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY Today, Demi Lovato released the music video for the movie tie-in song "Still Alive," which features officially licensed footage from the upcoming Scream 6. Some of the clips that appear in the video have never been seen before, including several shots of the surviving gang hanging out. However, a lingering glance between Tara and Chad would seem to imply that they are starting to be much more than friends out there in the Big Apple.Romance Isn't Always Doomed in the Scream Franchise Now that Tara is forming a new attachment with another survivor, it seems only natural that Chad will be put on the chopping block in Scream 6.
However, romantic couples can survive - at least for quite a while - in the Scream movies. The primary example of this is Gale Weather's on-again, off-again relationship with Dewey Riley . While Dewey was eventually murdered in Scream 2022, their love survived long enough to fizzle out on its own before he was dispatched.
Consummate final girl Sidney Prescott has also found love. In fact, in Scream 2022 it was implied that her husband and the father of her children is none other than Mark Kincaid from Scream 3.
