WATCH: New Hampshire GovChrisSununu confirms he's considering a 2024 run
Sununu appeared on CNN's State of the Union with Dana Bash, who brought up an University of New Hampshire poll that had the governor at 4% among other Republican candidates like Gov. Ron DeSantis and former President Donald Trump. The Republican governor noted he was surprised he was on that poll at all. Bash asked Sununu if he has a deadline for when he'll officially announce his candidacy."I really don’t have a timeline," Sununu admitted.
"I’m spending a lot of time nationally trying to grow the party as Republicans. Talk to independents, talk to the next generation of potential Republican voters that right now no one is really reaching out to." He went on to say he expects others will announce their respective candidacies this spring and summer.The governor also admitted DeSantis would win his state"without a doubt.
