San Antonio premieres of 'Frozen,' 'Six' coming to Majestic Theatre
Terica Marie, center, plays Anna of Cleves in the North American tour of"Six," which will kick off the Broadway in San Antonio series at the Majestic Theatre in October.The pop musical is structured as a sing-off between the wives of Henry VIII in which they share their stories. The New York Times described it as “a rollicking, reverberant blast from the past.” The Tony-winning score includes"Don't Lose Ur Head,""No Way" and"I Don't Need Your Love.
The much-adored musical about a scrappy orphan whose quest to find her parents takes an unexpected turn, returns to the Majestic. The score includes"It's the Hard Knock Life,""Easy Street" and"Tomorrow." Nov. 7-12.The jukebox show follows the music legend’s life from her hardscrabble childhood through her abusive marriage to Ike Turner and her late-career triumphs.
