Given the prospective 2024 release date of Netflix's adaptation, the marketing of the show will begin kicking into full gear going into the latter months of 2023.
Concerning Ozai, the character posed a looming threat over the proceedings of Avatar: The Last Airbender seasons 1 and 2 and even had some dialogue scenes throughout. However, his face was not shown for the first time until The Last Airbender season 3, episode 1. This allowed Ozai to have a mysterious, threatening presence in the show until his major involvement in the final season that saw Aang's arc come full circle.
