THE National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council on Wednesday said that the estimated cost of damage to agriculture and infrastructure by Severe Tropical Storm 'Paeng' has now breached the P9 billion mark.
According to the latest situation report of the NDRRMC, the estimated cost of damage to infrastructure is now at P4,665,856,137.88.Damage to agriculture is at P4,366,778,568.42.The number of affected individuals also rose to 5,299,716 or 1,315,083 families from 9,860 villages.An estimated P223,689,129.43 in assistance were provided to the affected individuals and families.
