The 27-year-old singer will be enlisting as an active duty soldier on Nov. 4. After completing his basic military training, he will serve in the Army Band. “NCT Jaehyun applied to the Army Band and received a notice of acceptance from the Military Manpower Administration today . He will enlist as an active-duty soldier on November 4 and fulfill his military service obligation,” his agency, SM Entertainment, announced on Sept. 26.
“Please continue to support and love Jaehyun until he completes his military service and returns in good health,” it said. Jaehyun debuted as a singer in 2016. He is the second member of NCT to enlist after Taeyong who started his military service in April and is currently serving as a member of the Navy Band.
