According to NCRPO, its operatives identified and apprehended the first two suspects, Armand Cariño, 28, and Pearl John Fernandez, in a buy-bust operation conducted on April 5 at Caruncho Ave., Barangay San Nicolas.Based on the report, police personnel seized a plastic containing more or less 100 grams of shabu amounting to P680,000, one piece of a P1,000 bill, 199 pieces of fake P1,000 bills, and a bag.
The other two suspects, Elvie Cariño, 51, and Jocelyn Cariño, 26, were arrested when they reportedly tried to approach the police and offered P100,000 in exchange for the liberty of one of the earlier apprehended suspects.
