David explained in a Tuesday tweet that the 7-day positivity rate in the region increased by 5.1 percent since it was last recorded at 17.8 percent on April 30.“The increasing trend is slowing down, and the peak could happen within the next week or so. The positivity rate could also miss the 25% mark,” he added.
