The city government said the residents should remain vigilant when the sea tides rise higher than normal.This week, the highest tide is anticipated to reach up to two meters from normal sea level.
It is expected to occur at around 12:25 p.m. on Sunday and 12:52 p.m. on Monday.It also assured residents that the sea tides will not cause a flood as the floodgate built by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority can contain up to two meters of high tide.
