Antonio said legislative Democrats have tried in vein to negotiate a “clean bill” that does nothing more than allow Biden on the ballot. However, she said, Statehouse Republicans have continued to put “poison pills” in their proposals to do that, mostly focusing on tightening restrictions on ballot-issue campaigns.
