A Jericho High School senior is ready to play in his homecoming football game after a two-year battle with Stage 3 Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.
JERICHO, Long Island --Two years ago, at just 15 years old, the Jericho High School varsity quarterback was diagnosed with Stage 3 Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.
The student-athlete recalled the five-month period before he began chemotherapy treatment, where he got sick every single day. "Every day I'd work out my lower body when I was hooked up to an IV, and my upper body when I was detached at night," Morgan said. Cancer was a game Morgan refused to lose. He has played in all five games so far this football season.
