NASA, SpaceX launches Crew-6 mission to the International Space Station

Micrometeoroids and orbital debris are a known risk for the station's occupants. Bowen, the veteran on this Crew-6 mission that launched at 11:34 p.m. CST in a SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule, described being on a spacewalk and seeing handrails that had been hit by objects in space. He also had his own close encounter.
"I'm just hoping my body retains the memory from 12 years ago," Bowen said,"so I can enjoy it properly."
