Giovanni Esposito of Gloucester County is accused of running over the victim, police say

Giovanni Esposito, of Paulsboro, had previously hit the victim with his van, authorities said. The victim suffered minor injuries in the first alleged attack, according to an affidavit of probable cause. The incident was reported to police by witnesses and recorded on surveillance video, the affidavit states. The van was seized as evidence in the case, according to Gloucester County Prosecutor Christine A. Hoffman.
