A 43-year-old man from New Jersey was indicted by a federal grand jury on Jan. 4 for his role in defrauding the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission of approximately $1 million in tolls, the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of PennsylvaniaThe indictment alleges that beginning in 2018, Duvany Zambrano of Hamilton and Sergio Jara, 37, of Allentown, Pennsylvania, began acquiring thousands of E-Z Pass transponders from retailers in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
