No arrests were reported after the attack Tuesday.
The city’s gunfire detection system alerted police to “multiple rounds” fired around 3:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of North Willow Street, where officers found a male and female shot, according to prosecutor’s office spokeswoman Casey DeBlasio. The male victim died while the female was rushed to an area hospital, the spokeswoman said.
There were no arrests reported. More information, including the condition of the other victim, was not immediately available.
