Aircraft in some European airspace, primarily in Eastern Europe, are experiencing mysterious global positioning system (GPS) navigational interference. Over 1,600 airplanes, including many civilian ones, have reported the issue. The main problem seems to be GPS jamming around the Baltic Sea, causing severe navigation issues for pilots. The affected areas are mainly centered around Poland and southern Sweden. Interference with GPS signals can be potentially dangerous, leading to incorrect navigation and location information.

The main issue appears to be from GPS jamming around the Baltic Sea . The practice is causing severe issues for pilots navigating the region. The map of the affected areas has been published on X.
It shows that the issue is mainly centered around Poland and southern Sweden. Other maps also show that one hot spot appears to be Northern Poland. Nations in Eastern Europe and aircraft flying in close proximity to the Baltic region have reported instances of GPS signal interference. Interference with GPS and other Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) signals can confuse both manned and unmanned aircraft. It is potentially very dangerous, as it can lead to incorrect navigation and location information
