The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) board has expressed concern over the alarming online attacks that have been targeting MTRCB chairperson Lala Sotto.

Netizens expressed grievances on MTRCB's social media pages in an inappropriate and harmful manner, raising concerns for the chairperson's safety and security.

“Chairperson Lala Sotto is a dedicated public servant who has spent her career advocating for responsible and inclusive media content. She has consistently championed the importance of media content that respects cultural sensitivities while contributing positively to the Philippine entertainment industry," said MTRCB Vice Chairman Njel De Mesa.
