The series is being described as an “exploration of faith versus technology — an epic battle of biblical and binary proportions.”will playing Simone, a nun who goes to battle against an all-powerful Artificial Intelligence. She will be joined by Jake McDorman as Simone’s rebellious ex, who also has a personal vendetta against the Algorithm.
Additional cast also includes Andy McQueen, Ben Chaplin, Margo Martindale, David Arquette, Elizabeth Marvel, Katja Herbers, Chris Diamantopoulo, Ashley Romans, Tom Wlaschiha, and Mathilde Ollivier. This marks Gilpin’s second collaboration with Lindelof after working together on the controversial 2020 film, which was co-written by the acclaimed TV creator. Gilpin gained recognition for her acclaimed role as Debbie Eagan in Netflix’sMaggie Dela Paz has been writing about the movie and TV industry for more than four years now. Besides being a fan of coming-of-age films and shows, she also enjoys watching K-Dramas and listening to her favorite K-Pop groups.
