MANILA, Philippines – Leaving up to their reputation as king slayers, RSG Philippines denied ECHO the record of longest winning streak by sweeping the defending champions, 2-0, in the closing match of Week 5 of the Mobile Legends Bang Bang Professional League Philippines Season 12 at the Shooting Gallery Studios in Makati City.
Out of the running, however, are TNC Pro Team, who suffered an early exit after losing against both ECHO and Smart Omega over the weekend. Though the Phoenix Army saw an early win in the season, unlike seasons prior, TNC Pro Team would not be able to ride the momentum and would see a nine game losing streak and eventually being eliminated by Smart Omega.
