A Florida man died Thursday evening in a collision involving two motorcycles and a pickup south of Tok, Alaska State Troopers said.
Sherjung Dhillon, 40, was driving a motorcycle southbound near Mile 112 of the Tok Cutoff Highway when he and another southbound motorcycle collided with a northbound Dodge pickup around 6:20 p.m., said Austin McDaniel, a spokesman for the troopers. Investigators are still determining how the collision happened and if the motorcyclists were riding together, McDaniel said Friday.. Dhillon died on the way to the hospital.
The 125-mile-long Tok Cutoff Highway begins off the Richardson Highway in Gakona and ends in Tok, where it meets the Alaska Highway.
