MORE Electric and Power Corp. (MORE Power) has successfully rehabilitated its Molo Substation in Iloilo City after 15 months of intensive work, marking a significant milestone in enhancing electric distribution. The substation, which was in operation for 23 years without proper maintenance, now boasts a maximum capacity of 30 megavolt ampere (MVA) and can be remotely operated from MORE Power's command center via the Supervisory Control and Data acquisition (SCADA) System.
ILOILO CITY – After 15 months of intensive rehabilitation, MORE Electric and Power Corp. has reenergized its substation in Molo District here.
“This is another major milestone as we seek to enhance electric distribution,” said MORE Power President and CEO Roel Z. Castro after the switch on of the newly rehabilitated Molo Substation on Thursday, October 10.
