Doctors says more of their patients are seeking permanent sterilization procedures, but some patients are reporting that doctors are unwilling to operate on people of childbearing age.
Dani Marietti's"sterilization shower" in Helena, Montana, features cookies with abortion-rights slogans, such as"My Body, My Choice," written on them in frosting.
Marietti is a full-time graduate student in Helena working toward becoming a therapist. She doesn't want kids to get in the way of her career. She had considered permanent sterilization before, but the possibility that the Supreme Court would overturnpushed her to seek out an OB-GYN who would help her with a permanent method of contraception.
