“Now they are all over,” Mobley said. “What happens in Park Forest spills over into Calumet Park, what happens in Orland Park spills over into Calumet City.”Ernest Mobley, deputy police chief in Calumet Park. Aside from municipal agencies, attendees may include personnel from other county and federal agencies.
“My guys know that if there is something they can do to make you better it makes us better,” he said.

Nursing home patient rolls a joint, police are called: Chagrin Falls police blotterAs seen in this week’s Chagrin Falls police blotter, A nursing home staff member reported a patient, 67, was rolling a marijuana joint the morning of Aug. 10 and they wanted a police officer to take it from him. The responding officer questioned the patient who said he was a grown man and would not surrender the marijuana. The contraband was not in plain sight and the officer asked if the nursing staff could search the patient. They advised they could not. A report was filed to document the incident.
