MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Montgomery is one of 25 cities across the country that will receive grant money to improve air service, the U.S. Department of Transportation announced Wednesday.
Montgomery Regional Airport Executive Director Wade Davis said they will use the grant monies to market their direct flights to Washington, D.C. Davis mentioned if the airport continues to lose seats on the direct flight, it will more than likely cause a negative economic impact.
