From one legend to another, basketball icon Ramon Fernandez took the time to honor former Toyota and national teammate Robert 'Sonny' Jaworski, who celebrated his 78th birthday on Friday, March 8, 2024.The player fondly called 'El Presidente' during his distinguished basketball career, wrote a lengthy message to Jaworski, who, for years, may have been perceived in public as his 'rival.'Yet, Fernandez called Jaworski as 'partner' in his message.
