Doersching has also homered and is hitting 4-for-9 with two walks through his first four games as a pro.Doersching, who has drawn comparisons to Luke Voit, hit 20 homers in 48 games in 2021 at Northern Kentucky and 15 in 52 games this year at Oklahoma State.Left fielder Juan Murillo went 2-for-5 with a double and three runs scored.Left-hander Javier Chacon struck out eight and allowed three runs – two earned – in five innings in the start.
Right-hander Justin Lopez , a converted infielder, struck out two over two scoreless innings in the win.th allowing 10 runs – seven earned – in 1 1/3 innings in the loss before two other relievers allowed six run runs. DH drove in two runs on two hits, including a double.
