A minister is asking for help after she accidentally donated her family Bible — which she believes could date back to the 1600s — to Goodwill.
A minister is “praying for a miracle” and offering a $500 reward for a lost family Bible, which she believes might date back to the 1600s.
According to her post, the Bible has “generations of marriages and births” listed in it. She only realized it was missing last week, when her father was entering his second week of hospice care. “I have also been told that books don’t last long on the shelves … one month. Isn’t that crazy?!” she wrote. “Goodwill gets so many donations they don’t stay long.”
