Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth’s breakup turned nasty fast
When news broke over the weekend of Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth’s breakup, the respectful silence followed by respectful statements coming out of both camps seemed to indicate a peaceful approach to ending their on-again-off-again relationship, which culminated in less than a year of marriage.
But the peace didn’t hold, at least according to the tabloids. On Wednesday, TMZ reported that sources from Miley and Liam’s camps are hard at work blaming the other side. According to the tabloid, Miley “tried valiantly to save the marriage and the dealbreaker was that Liam was drinking a lot and using certain drugs.” Liam’s sources deny this narrative, claiming Miley cheated and that this is ultimately what tanked the relationship.
“Page Six” reported on Wednesday that Liam was “heartbroken and blindsided by those photos” of Cyrus kissing Carter. “They are still married and they really did love each other,” the source continued. “She’s really immature and always has been.” Ok, but what do you really think?! I don’t know what the heck to believe, because on Thursday People reported that, according to a source, Cyrus is having difficulty “letting him go,” although “at the end of the day, she wants to be happy and she genuinely wants Liam to be happy too.”
