“My parents were WWII vets and it meant so much to my parents that she served [as a mechanic] during the war,” Myers said.

“David called me about four years ago and we had a discussion about it,” he shared. “I just thought, he’s a great filmmaker and this is a fantastic subject for a film. I know he’s a true entertainer so whatever broader social commentary [there is] is going to be presented in a very entertaining way and I was right.”
Margot Robbie, Rami Malek, Andrea Riseborough, Michael Shannon and Drake, who served as one of the film’s producers, also attended the premiere.
