Michelle Obama revealed during an interview with Oprah Winfrey that she chooses not to follow her two daughters, Malia and Sasha Obama, on social media.
Both Sasha and Malia are currently in college, with Sasha attending the University of Michigan and Malia enrolled at Harvard University.
Former First Lady Michelle Obama isn't wary of a hands-off approach when it comes to parenting her two daughters.Michelle recently shared with Oprah Winfrey during the Oprah's 2020 Vision: Your Life in Focus tour stop in Brooklyn, New York, that she actively chooses not to follow her daughters on social media. Her girls with former President Barack Obama, Malia and Sasha Obama, have both left home for college in recent years.
"I just spent a year on a book tour talking about me. It feels like, that’s enough," she said."Now, let's talk about somebody else's story. Now, where are these girls who are not going to school? Because you know what I mean, that's why I'm here. I'm not here to talk about my story, or to talk about my journey. I'm here to shine a light on other young women.
