Michelle paid tribute to the legendary artist through her gowns for Miss Universe 2023 and her homecoming parade. She also called Whang-Od an "amazing symbol of cultural preservation" and said that if she could ever live as another woman, she would choose her.Michelle, who finished in the top 10 of Miss Universe 2023 and won several special awards, is set to crown her successor at the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 pageant on May 22.
