The Manila International Airport Authority on Tuesday announced it had completed the electrical system upgrades at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3.In a news release, the MIAA said the second phase of the electrical system upgrade, which commenced in early April, concluded on May 28.The system upgrade was a ''continuation of the Terminal 3 electrical systems upgrade project that commenced last year,'' it said.
The MIAA said generator sets provided power to Terminal 3, giving priority to critical equipment and facilities to ensure continuous passenger processing and uninterrupted flight operations.“These electrical upgrades are important to us, and we are very happy with the conclusion, as it guarantees a more dependable electrical system for the terminal,” said MIAA general manager Eric Jose Ines.
