The seven-day positivity rate of Covid-19 in Metro Manila fell to 16.8 percent on June 3, from 21.7 percent on May 27, the OCTA Research said on Monday, June 5. ManilaBulletin READ:

Positivity rate refers to the number of individuals who yielded positive results from those who were tested for Covid-19.

David added that the seven-day positivity rates in Bulacan, La Union, Rizal, and Tarlac were also moderate.The benchmark for the positivity rate set by the World Health Organization is 5 percent. On June 4, the Department of Health reported 1,272 new Covid-19 cases across the country, of which 360 cases were recorded in Metro Manila.He said the country’s current positivity rate is 18.1 percent, down slightly from 18.6 percent on June 3.
