Sinabi ng PAGASA na kabilang pa sa mga lugar pa may mapanganib na heat index nitong Martes ay ang Aparri, Cagayan na abot hanggang sa 43 degrees Celsius habang pawang nasa 42 degrees Celsius ang Laoag, Ilocos Norte; Tuguegarao City, Cagayan; ISU Echague, Isabela; Clark Airport, Pampanga; Munoz, Nueva Ecija; Baler, Aurora at Casiguran, Aurora.
Sa isinagawa namang QC Journalist forum sa Quezon City Hall kahapon, sinabi ni Dra. Ana Solis, hepe ng Climate Monitoring and Prediction Department ng PAGASA na makakaranas ng matinding heat index ang buong bansa kasama na ang Metro Manila hanggang sa Mayo, ngayong taon.
