Naomi Gleit, Meta's 2nd-longest-serving employee and head of product, shares her favorite interview question
Gleit told Insider about the biggest lessons she'd learned working at Meta and her favorite interview question, which is,"What is one of the mistakes that you've made in the past in your career?"
"I think the only way to learn is to be open to feedback, making mistakes, and learning from them," she said. Job candidates should be able to identify their errors, reflect on them, and show what they grasped from the lesson, Gleit added. "I spent too long trying to do everything myself and not enough time realizing what's the best thing that I can do for the company," Gleit said, adding that she learned building a team that could scale without her was vital to Meta.
