The Manila Electric Co. is gearing up for the upcoming barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections with necessary activities being conducted to ensure stable and reliable electricity service.

Further, Meralco said it has trimmed trees and removed hazards that can obstruct power lines, as well as prepared over 300 generator sets and nearly 800 floodlights on stand-by in case of an unexpected power interruption. “Our crews will be deployed in strategic locations across its franchise area and will be ready to address any possible problem on electricity service,” he said.
The largest electric power distribution company and biggest private sector utility in the country, Meralco provides electric service within its franchise coverage and has a consolidated customer count of 7.716 million as of end June.
