More details have been released, outlining a shooting that broke out at a memorial for a Harrisburg teen.Community members gathered Thursday night to honor the memory of 18-year-old Marion Holmes, a teenager who was killed in a head on crash involving a police vehicle on Tuesday.
Then tragedy, striking twice, after police say an unknown gunman opened fire on the memorial, killing 22-year-old Steelton resident Marshall Vujasinovich. Chief Corey Dickerson with the Dauphin County Criminal Investigation Division confirms that the memorial was in fact targeted, but Vujasinovich himself was not.
Dickerson states they received reports that the suspect was a masked black man who was wearing all black.Right now, Dickerson says officials are focusing on canvassing neighbors to receive as much information as possible about the shooting. Dickerson reports that there is currently no danger to the public and that no information can be provided regarding any possible suspects due to this being an ongoing investigation.
