Designed in Australia and ethically made in Bali, Saint Somebody is environmentally conscious in both production and distribution.

Giving back to the planet is incredibly important to the brand, and it has partnered with B1G1, a nonprofit that uses the proceeds from every sale to assist a remarkable array of global causes. To date, Saint Somebody has given families in Cambodia 10,080 days of access to clean water and families in India 3,200 days of access to clean solar energy.

I have been lucky to grow up in Sydney, Australia, with long summers and some of the world’s greatest beaches. The sand and sea are very much part of my DNA. I believe strongly in the empowerment of women and body positivity. I see firsthand the social and personal benefits gifted to women by owning themselves. The brand was created for a specific body shape, one that is often ignored, albeit the “average” size — to enable women to own it, feel awesome and rediscover the love of being free.

Sophie Henderson-Smart: This season we have some new colors in our best-selling one-piece, named “Come As You Are.” This is a classic beauty in a seamless design with on-trend shoulder ties. It has built-in support and can fit a large range of bust sizes. We have added mustard, teal and red to the range. One of our newest one-pieces is a one-shoulder design that looks amazing as a bodysuit also.

Sophie Henderson-Smart: As a predominantly online sales model, technology has obviously played a critical role in the development of our business since the beginning. Use of all major social media has been central to our strategy in building global brand recognition and customer scale very quickly. It is amazing that only a few years ago, accessing global markets was simply out of reach for most small businesses.
