Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Gala Film's exclusive partnership with Battle Island is bearing fruit as the animated show Ghosts of Ruin nears its premiere, and Screen Rant is thrilled to offer an exclusive first look at one of its character teasers. The team behind the interactive project hosted a panel at San Diego Comic-Con on July 22, where they debuted incredible footage to introduce the dystopian world of the series.
Ghosts of Ruin takes place in an alternate San Francisco that is overrun by tech, where the Tournament of Ruin offers a fully immersive technology known as Neural Reality. Protagonist Lee joins the ranks of the upcoming battle royale thanks to his gaming skills, but the game itself contains a dark and secret entity hunting each of the plays down. Dawson, who will also be returning as Ahsoka in August, plays badass gaming gunslinger Prism and one of Lee's fellow contestants.
Aside from Revolori and Dawson, other Ghosts of Ruin players include Juggernaut and Assassin , while Justin Long plays the mysterious Marcus. But what makes the project truly stand out is the fact that, even as the characters have the game synced directly into their minds, viewers can help decide what happens to them through the use of "badges" that they can purchase on the Ghosts of Ruin site.
