A British tech firm has created a humanoid robot which can show emotions.

Named Ameca and dubbed as "the most expressive robot," it was developed by Engineered Arts as a platform for artificial intelligence and machine learning development.

"The facial expressions are controlled by the operator but it's basically a camera system which looks at what the operator is doing and makes it happen on the robot. So, the human smiles, the robot smiles," said Morgan Roe, the Director of Operations for Engineered Arts. With its ability to interact with humans, Ameca is seen as a potential service robot in public places.
