LISTEN: In the wake of the ongoing mental health crisis, the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force is suggesting that adults under 65 years get an anxiety screening. QuanKCBSradio spoke with Dr. Lori Pbert, a psychologist and member of the task force.
In an effort to address the growing mental health crisis in America, a group of medical experts, also known as the US Preventive Services Task Force, are now recommending that adults under the age of 65 get screened for anxiety.
For more on this, KCBS Radio news anchor Holly Quan spoke with Dr. Lori Pbert, clinical psychologist and professor at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School. She is also a member of the US Preventive Services Task Force.
