New Marvel Cinematic Universe merch art reveals Chris Hemsworth's new Thor: Love and Thunder costume for Phase 4. After saving the universe in Avengers: Endgame, Hemsworth's god of thunder returns for another solo film. Thor is the first MCU character to lead four solo movies, with Thor 4 bringing back director Taika Waititi after he helped relaunch the series with Thor: Ragnarok.
Excitement for Thor: Love and Thunder has been quite high since Marvel Studios announced it in 2019. Delays caused by COVID-19 haven't lessened anticipation levels among the MCU's massive fanbase either. The movie is now the subject of speculation regarding when the proper first look will arrive. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness dropped its first trailer recently, and Thor 4 is next up on Marvel's slate.
If this leaked art is legit, it should be interesting to see how and why Thor goes through so many costume changes in Thor: Love and Thunder. He's already been seen wearing a costume similar to Thunderstrike's comic look, and he'll noticeably shed the weight he gained in Avengers: Endgame. Now, there appear to be different variations of his final Thor: Love and Thunder costume.
