A squadron of fighter pilots who attacked Houthi weapons depots in Yemen will return Saturday to Marine Corps Air Station Miramar after a five-month deployment to the Middle East and Indo-Pacific aboard the San Diego-based aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln.The Black Knights targeted depots that “housed conventional weapons, including anti-ship missiles and one-way attack drones, used by the Iranian-backed Houthis to target U.S.

The Lincoln carrier strike group also was helping to protect Israel from possible attacks by Iran and its collaborators. The ship is now on its way back to San Diego.
