Mayors from 14 cities in Los Angeles County are set to attend along with six from Orange County are set to attend the U.S. Conference of Mayors 91st Winter Meeting in Washington.
LOS ANGELES — Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass will make her first trip to Washington since taking office in December for the United States Conference of Mayors 91st Winter Meeting which begins today and concludes Friday with the mayors meeting with President Joe Biden and his top staff at the White House.
Beverly Hills Mayor Lili Bosse is scheduled to speak Wednesday at a session titled “Combating Hate and Extremism and the Violence They Fuel.” In addition to Bass and Bosse, the other Los Angeles County mayors who have registered are Jessica Ancona ; Monica Arroyo ; Drew Boyles ; Gleam Davis ; Claudia Frometa ; Ray Jackson ; Erik Lutz ; Rex Richardson ; Emma Sharif ; Vilma Cuellar Stallings ; David Torres ; and Chuong Vo .
