Caloocan City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan and the local People’s Law Enforcement Board (PLEB) awarded 250 members of the
Caloocan City Police Station for their outstanding service at a simple ceremony held at the Bulwagang Katipunan on Tuesday, August 15.
Mayor Along congratulated the 250 awardees and the CCPS for their efforts to maintain public order, including multiple operations against drug peddlers and most wanted persons. The City Mayor likewise encouraged more cops to not only perform well but to also help other members of their rank to always observe the rule of law and prioritize the safety of the public. He assured the PLEB and his constituents that all those who would violate the law, even law enforcers themselves, will be held accountable.
“Sinisiguro ko po na ang ating Lungsod ay may paggalang sa batas, kaya sinisiguro ko sa lahat ng mga Batang Kankaloo na lahat ng lumalabag dito ay pananagutin natin,” he added.
