The lava flowing from Mayon Volcano’s summit dome has now stretched 2.5 kilometers along the Mi-isi Gully, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) on Tuesday.

Mayon Volcano also emitted a "moderate" 800-meter-tall of plume which drifted southwest and west-southwest.Mayon Volcano is currently under Alert Level 3 due to its “intensified unrest” or magmatic unrest.A total of 39,045 individuals or 10,167 families residing in 26 barangays, meanwhile, have been affected by Mayon Volcano’s unrest, according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council on Tuesday.
Authorities said the patient was from Barangay Matnog in Daraga town and was evacuated to Gabawan Elementary School.
